Hotshot Signs is a trusted signage and design company based in Hamilton, Waikato. Since 1999, we've been helping businesses across New Zealand stand out with bold, creative, and high-quality signage solutions.

Our Story

Founded by Tony Greer in 1999, Hotshot Signs began with a passion for turning ideas into eye-catching visuals. Over the years, we've grown into a full-service signage company known for our craftsmanship, creativity, and commitment to excellence.

In 2021 Tristan Penman and Andy Watkins bought into the business and now are joint owners since April 2025. They bring fresh energy and vision while continuing the legacy of quality and service that Tony built.

Tristan has been a part of the Hotshot Signs team since 2009, his background is in Graphic Design, studying at EIT in Hawkes Bay, before moving to Hamilton and working as a Graphic Designer before starting at Hotshots. His areas of expertise are in design and production.

Andy Watkins has been signwriting for a large part of his life, completing his Sign ​Apprenticeship in his early 20s. He has worked at shops in Hamilton and Tauranga, before returning to Hamilton and working at NZ Signs until 2019 when he joined the Hotshots team. Andy's area of expertise is in installing and fabrication.
